This one of a kind double Delta bred mare was purchased from Taylor Performance Horses out of Oklahoma in 2005.
Sired by Delta Getsya there (LTE NCHA Earnings of over $19,000) who is out of the great Delta (First Paint to be inducted into the NCHA Hall of Fame, NCHA World Champion and Reserve World Champion, LTE NCHA $49,000). Her dam Delta Lady was sired by Delta Flyer (LTE NCHA 211,000, APHA and NCHA World Cutting Champion and sired cutting earners of more than $1,000,000)
She competed and won money in Working Cowhorse, Reining and Team Penning prior to coming to Manitoba. She had 4 foals in Oklahoma and they sold for as much as $7500.
She was supposed to be a broodmare but she was so athletic and so much fun to ride I decided she would be a barrel horse.
She has won trophies, ribbons, all sort of prizes, a saddle and over $5000.00 in her barrel racing career. An absolute consistent 1D/2D barrel horse with a ton of grit who gives her best every run. In 2011 she also became my Prairie Gunslinger mount and we chased down and robbed the Prairie Dog Central a few times over the summer.
She is bred to Smokes Remedy for a 2013 foal. I expect great things from the two of them!
